Sliding barn door nightstand.
Sliding barn door nightstand.
You are going to need to cut two of these from 3 4 plywood at 27 1 4 x 16 1 2.
The nightstand was constructed first using the plans off the shanty 2 chic website.
We show you out tips on cutting plywood.
Then attach them together.
Once you ve cut the panels go ahead and add five pocket holes across the top edge of each.
Let s start building this sliding barn door nightstand by cutting the side panels.
Make sure to check our our how to rip plywood and our how to use a miter saw videos.
To start we had the hardware store rip our hardwood plywood to the correct widths.
Most importantly you can download the free plans to create a sliding barn door nightstand of your very own right here.
Then those plans were modified to make a double sliding barn door vanity to fit in the designated space.
Then we used our miter saw to make the cross cuts on each sheet.
For the door cut the planks and drilled pocket hole screws in three of the boards.
If you check out the original post on shanty2chic you ll notice a really cool rustic light fixture right above the nightstand.
Cut and install the shelf and floor.
