Small Black Dots On Floor

I take the tiny piles of black course dust and when removed it leaves what looks like a burn mark that is difficult to clean and take out of a nice box.

So far i have found a cluster on ds1 s pillow on ds 1s bedroom floor lino on the hall floor laminate on the leather sofa and today on the cofee table. This is what caused the black spots.
